Vor 56 Jahren wurde der alte Gemeindesaal im Hof abgerissen und eine neue Kirche gebaut. In der Zwischenzeit durfte die Gemeinde ihre Gottesdienste im Pfarrsaal von St. Max gegenüber feiern. Die neue Christuskirche wurde 1969 eingweiht: eine kleine Kirche im Hof, mitten unter Wohnhäusern. Nur der Schaukasten an der Hofeinfahrt weist auf die Kirche hin.

Fiftysix years ago, the old parish hall in the courtyard was demolished and a new church was built. In the meantime, the congregation was allowed to hold its services in the parish hall of St. Max's Church across the street. The new United Methodist Church Christ Church was consecrated in 1969: a small church in the courtyard, surrounded by residential buildings. Only the display case at the courtyard entrance indicates the church.
